EverBee vs Marmalead (2026): Etsy Product Research vs Listing SEO
EverBee vs Marmalead compared from each company's public pages: what each tool is built to do, free Hobby vs a 14-day trial, published prices, and which Etsy sellers should start with which.

Affiliate disclosure: This comparison contains an affiliate link to EverBee. If you sign up for a paid plan through it, SellerImageAI may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We don’t have an affiliate link for Marmalead, and that doesn’t change the comparison below.
EverBee and Marmalead both show up when Etsy sellers look for keyword data, but they are built for different jobs:
- EverBee is a product research tool. Its core question is which listings and shops already look like they sell, with keyword research alongside that.
- Marmalead describes itself as Etsy SEO. Its pages are organized around finding shopper keywords, reading how those keywords behave, and applying them to your listings.
This page uses each company’s public site, checked on October 22, 2026: EverBee pricing, EverBee’s Help Center and terms, and Marmalead’s homepage, pricing page, free-tools page, trial page, Chrome extension article (March 16, 2026) and terms. We have not used either product hands-on for this article. Neither tool can guarantee sales. Use them to compare options, then judge results in your own Etsy Stats.
Quick verdict
- You don’t have a shop yet and you’re choosing what to sell: start with EverBee’s free Hobby plan. EverBee’s Help Center says a buyer account can be connected. Marmalead’s pages we read are written around a shop you already list in.
- You already have listings and the problem is getting found in search: Marmalead is the closer fit. It is built around keyword brainstorming, search and engagement figures, seasonality, listing letter grades and an AI assistant (Marma) for titles and tags.
- You want estimated sales and revenue for other people’s listings: that is EverBee’s paid Product Analytics, not something we found described the same way on Marmalead’s pages.
- You want to try before you pay: Marmalead’s free-tools page offers a 14-day trial of the full premium product, with no charges until the trial ends. EverBee does not advertise a trial of Growth or Business. Its Hobby plan is free and the pricing page says no credit card is required.

Sources, checked October 22, 2026. Marmalead plans are from the pricing page on that date. The March 16, 2026 Chrome extension article is the source for the monthly and lifetime plans only: everbee.io/pricing, EverBee: use without a store, marmalead.com, marmalead.com/pricing, free tools, Chrome extension article, March 16, 2026.
EverBee: research first
EverBee’s pricing page (October 22, 2026) still splits the product into three plans. The header image is EverBee’s own Keyword Research screen for the example phrase “funny mugs,” with search volume, competition and Keyword Score. Those are EverBee’s sample figures, not a result from this article.
What the plans include, from that pricing page:
- Hobby, “free forever.” Product Analytics limited to views, reviews and favorites. Keyword research for 10 keywords. Basic filters. Favorites for 5 keywords, 5 shops and 1 custom folder. The page footer says no credit card is required. Sales, revenue and Keyword Score are not on this list.
- Growth, billed annually or monthly. EverBee’s pricing FAQ calls the annual price a discount. Growth adds sales, revenue and conversion rate, trends on individual listings, unlimited keywords with Keyword Score, 3 Hot Filters, Tag Analyzer, 100 AI Actions a month, MCP access, favorites up to 1,000 keywords, 100 shops and 10 folders, and 3 store connections.
- Business, billed annually. It adds longer trend windows on listings and research tables, unlimited custom filters, unlimited AI Actions, and unlimited favorites and store connections.
EverBee’s terms (section 2.4) say a monthly plan can be refunded if you contact them within three days of purchase. Annual plans can get a pro-rated refund, capped at eight months. There is no line on the current pricing page offering a free trial of Growth or Business. Hobby is the free way in.
Our EverBee review covers the product in more detail. Hobby vs Growth is the short version of the free limits. For the keyword workflow itself, see how to use EverBee Keyword Research, including what Keyword Score means.

Marmalead: keywords, then the listing
Marmalead’s homepage (October 22, 2026) calls the product “Etsy SEO, powered by AI” and groups the work into three steps:
- Brainstorm. Storm builds a list of keyword suggestions you can save. Popular Searches shows what is trending. Similar Searches shows variations shoppers use.
- Analyze. The homepage lists real search volume, real keyword engagement, days to ship and market-based pricing. The pricing page (as of Oct 22, 2026) adds AI Description Critique, AI-generated FAQs, MarmaMeters for search volume, engagement and competition, keyword seasonality, keyword forecasting, side-by-side keyword comparison, and pricing charts labeled Bargain, Mid Range and Premium. The homepage also says seasonality covers more than 12 months of performance plus a 3-month forecast, that engagement is unique visits a keyword is expected to generate over the next 30 days, and that search volume is searches expected over the next 30 days.
- Apply. Listings get a letter grade, with SEO Factors and Sales Factors. Marma AI is described as a shop coach that can write titles and tags and explain keyword trends using your shop stats and Marmalead’s keyword data. An Entrepreneur’s Course Library is included with a subscription.
The free-tools page offers two tools it says you can keep and download: an Etsy fees calculator and a hashtag generator that turns keyword lists into social hashtags. The same page says those free tools come with a 14-day trial of premium tools, that the trial includes the full version, and that there are no charges until the trial runs out. The trial page at marmalead.com/free-trial/ talks about making the most of “your first month” and names Keyword Forecasts, listing grades, MarmaMeters, Storm, a comparison tool and Keyword Search. It does not print a dollar price.
Marmalead pricing
On October 22, 2026, marmalead.com/pricing/ listed quarterly and annual plans. A monthly plan and the lifetime plan’s price were not shown.
| Plan | What marmalead.com/pricing/ says (as of Oct 22, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Quarterly | Paid quarterly. The page says you sign up for 3 months at a time |
| Annual | Paid annually, with a saving vs quarterly |
| Lifetime | Price not shown. The page says you pay once |
The same page lists Storm keyword suggestions, trending searches, similar searches, AI Description Critique, AI-generated FAQs, search volume and engagement, MarmaMeters (search volume, engagement and competition), keyword seasonality, keyword forecasting, side-by-side keyword comparison, pricing charts (Bargain, Mid Range and Premium), listing letter grades, SEO factors, sales factors, and connecting multiple shops.
Marmalead’s Chrome extension article dated March 16, 2026 lists a monthly plan and a one-time lifetime plan that the pricing page did not. Its annual line does not match the current page.
That article says every plan includes the Chrome extension, Marma AI (in the extension and the dashboard) and all keyword research tools, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Two official pages describe the money differently, so read both before you pay:
- The extension article and the free-tools page advertise a 14-day window (money-back, or no charge until a trial ends).
- Marmalead’s terms say paid features (it gives the Entrepreneur plan as an example) are monthly or annual, renew automatically, can be canceled in Account Settings, and that payments for the current billing period are not refunded.
The Chrome extension article says the extension is a free download and that full features need an active Marmalead account. It works in Chrome and Chromium browsers such as Brave and Edge, and the troubleshooting section says it will not work in Firefox or Safari. Marma can be used on your listings and, according to that article, on other shops’ listings while you browse Etsy.

Which one should you choose?
You are still choosing a product
Use EverBee Hobby. Ten keyword searches and views, reviews and favorites are enough to see whether a niche is crowded before you commit. When you want estimated sales and revenue, that is the Growth upgrade. Marmalead’s listing grades and Marma don’t have a listing to grade until you have a shop.
If keywords are the whole question, also read EverBee vs eRank. eRank is another SEO-first tool, with a lower published entry price than EverBee Growth.
You have listings and want them found
Marmalead matches that job more directly: forecasts, engagement, letter grades and an in-Etsy assistant for titles and tags. EverBee can still help on a paid plan (unlimited Keyword Research, Keyword Score and Tag Analyzer), but its pricing page leads with product analytics, not listing grades.
A 14-day Marmalead trial is the practical way to see whether you will use the grades and Storm lists. If you cancel, check the terms line about the current period not being refunded, and the 14-day guarantee on the extension article, and keep the confirmation.
You want to know what a competitor’s listings sell
That is EverBee, on Growth or Business. The Shop Analyzer guide explains the shop-level view. EverBee’s own Help Center calls its sales figures a guide, not exact results. Don’t treat them as a forecast of your income.
You care about profit after Etsy fees
Neither tool, on the pages we read, is an order-level profit tracker for your own shop. EverBee has a free per-sale calculator, covered in the Etsy Fee Calculator guide. Marmalead’s free-tools page includes its own Etsy fees calculator. For ongoing profit, ads and print-on-demand costs, see EverBee vs ProfitTree.
A note on the numbers
Etsy does not publish other shops’ sales, or a public keyword database, for these tools to copy. EverBee’s estimates and Marmalead’s “expected” search and engagement figures are each company’s model. Marmalead’s trial page says it would rather show less data than misleading data. That is a design claim, not a measurement from this article.
Skip any headline that promises a multiple of your revenue. A keyword tool can shorten the research. It cannot promise orders. Photos, price, shipping and the product still decide whether someone buys.
FAQ
Is EverBee or Marmalead better?
They answer different questions. EverBee is the better fit for product research, including a free plan you can use before you have a shop. Marmalead is the better fit when you already have listings and want keyword forecasts, letter grades and help writing titles and tags.
Is Marmalead free?
Marmalead’s free-tools page offers an Etsy fees calculator and a hashtag generator that it says you can keep, plus a 14-day trial of the premium product. We did not find a permanent free research plan with a stated search limit, comparable to EverBee’s Hobby plan, on the pages we read.
Does Marmalead have a free trial?
Yes, according to Marmalead’s free-tools page: a 14-day trial that includes the full version, with no charges until the trial ends. The March 16, 2026 Chrome extension article also lists a 14-day money-back guarantee. The terms say payments for the current billing period are not refunded if you cancel, so read both before you enter a card.
How much does Marmalead cost?
As of Oct 22, 2026, Marmalead’s pricing page lists a quarterly plan and an annual plan. It does not show a monthly plan price or a lifetime price. A March 16, 2026 Marmalead article lists monthly and lifetime plans. Check current price at the live checkout.
Does Marmalead have a Chrome extension?
Yes. Marmalead’s March 16, 2026 article says the extension is included with every subscription, is free to download, and needs an active account for full features. It works in Chrome, Brave and Edge, and not in Firefox or Safari. EverBee also has a Chrome extension. Our EverBee Chrome extension guide covers what that one shows on Etsy search.
Can I use EverBee without an Etsy shop?
Yes. EverBee’s Help Center says you can connect an Etsy buyer account. Marmalead’s listing grades and Marma AI are described for a shop you connect. We didn’t find an official Marmalead statement that keyword research works with only a buyer account.
Final verdict
Pick EverBee when the open question is what to sell, and start on the free Hobby plan. Pick Marmalead when the open question is how a listing should be titled, tagged and graded for Etsy search, and use the 14-day trial to see if you will actually use it. The two can sit side by side later. One subscription does not replace the other, and neither one is a promise of sales.
